Our Story ~
This journey began in August 2018, when Laura fell down a flight of stairs. When we carefully picked her up we found that both bones in her left forearm were badly broken and needed to be reset. After surgery it would take months of wearing casts, and many more months of physical therapy before she could regain the use of her left hand. We had no guarantee that her hand would even heal properly or what that meant.
David has always been kind of a health nut and set about learning all he could to promote a speedy and more complete recovery for Laura. We worked with the Doctors advice and set in place a physical therapy routine. We changed our diet and began a journey of learning how to help our bodies heal and deal with pain naturally. It took two years for Laura to regain the full use of her hand with no limitation, numbness, or pain. It was during this time that our intense study for natural remedies began.
We are very grateful to the skilled therapist and brilliant medical personnel who provided guidance during that time. We also believe that God had a hand in leading us through that tough time to bring us to this calling. What a blessing!
Towards the end of Laura's recovery, since Laura had a history with fragrances from years past, we began selling fragrances. We believe that a beautiful fragrance has the power to elevate moods, create memorable moments, and help people feel their best. From the beginning, David insisted that our fragrance boutique be named after Laura, his wife, and Laura's Fragrance Boutique became reality.
Because we have always worked together, we named our brand Dalar Luxury, which is the combination of our initials. Dalar Luxury represents our shared commitment to bring wellbeing and happiness to our customers through thoughtfully crafted product lines. Our golden bottle logo represents the superior quality ingredients used in every product we make. We have since created our own Dalar Luxury Fragrance Collections, Natural Skin Care Collection, Natural Handmade Soap Collection, Natural Pain Relief Collection, our Great Outdoors Collection, and more. Our customers' reviews and testimonials motivate us to continue researching, developing, and creating innovative natural products. These collections enhance wellness, confidence, comfort and improve everyday living.
In December 2025, we reached another exciting milestone by moving into our permanent home for Laura's Fragrance Boutique at 2770 Riverside Drive, Bassett, Virginia, (shown above) where we showcase all of the Dalar Luxury Collections along with designer fragrances, and Arabian fragrances from Dubai. Additionally, due to our love for a great cup of coffee we also carry Dalar Luxury Select Fresh Roast Coffee.
